How it all began
Greg
Ohio-born and raised, Greg is the one and only son among four siblings, making him the resident protector and the occasional mischief-maker. As a project manager with a need for speed, he’s rarely seen outside his Challenger unless he's planning a road trip (speed tickets may or may not come standard). A devoted skier, Greg has tried to teach Ceci the ropes, though lessons often turn into impromptu comedy sketches on the slopes. He’s also a fierce board game competitor who loves Ceci dearly—just not enough to let her win.
Ceci
A proud Mexican, Ceci is a software developer by day and a Jedi by night (or whenever the force calls). She loves her pup Leia and exploring new challenges—especially when it involves bouldering with Greg. She enjoys spending time indulging in wine tastings and seeking out the best new spots for food. An aspiring race-runner, Ceci is often seen hitting the pavement (or at least trying!). Whether it’s climbing rocks or testing her endurance, she’s always up for a new adventure… just maybe not on skis.

Believe it or not, it all started with a swipe—thank you, Hinge! Ceci and Greg had their first date at a local coffee shop on a Sunday morning, both coincidentally rocking white tops and jeans. They spent the day wandering around the neighborhood and ended up at Bookloft (which, naturally, became their favorite bookstore). The next day, they had their second date, and well, let’s just say there were no more first dates after that.
Leia, Ceci’s dog, quickly gave Greg her stamp of approval—maybe a little too enthusiastically! Now, Greg and Leia have their own little adventures and “walkies” without Ceci, which she's *definitely* not jealous about… at all.
From there, it’s been one adventure after another. Ceci, a proud Mexican, and Greg, a born-and-raised Ohioan, found they had plenty in common.
Their first trip together was to Chicago, a place that became extra special when Greg chose it as the spot to pop the question. He planned a surprise weekend trip (something he’s done before, so Ceci didn’t suspect a thing). Ceci had no idea where they were going—even when they were in line at airport security—until she found out it was Chicago!
In true Greg style, he made sure the day was perfect. They walked along the beach, took a stroll along the riverwalk, and as they hugged, looking out at the pier, Greg asked *the* question. And because all perfect proposals end with good food, they celebrated at their favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago. Obviously, Tzuco.
They’re so excited to share this next adventure with you. Can’t wait to celebrate together!
